WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE OFFER
Villa dell’Usignolo was built as a summer residence for our family, right next to an agriculture estate.
The residence has three floors and is provided with coffered wood ceilings and ornated band painted walls.
The Italian style garden which surrounds the entire Villa is accessible through few steps built in stone.
The English park section of the garden is filled with cedar trees, London Planetrees and Lime trees, and offers a perfect space for peaceful business or holidays occasions.
As customary at the time of the building, the ground floor was used as an official floor and hosted a studio, a large living room, a dining room and a full kitchen.
The first floor served exclusively as bedroom floor, which in addition to the bedrooms had two small living rooms embellished with wrought iron balconies.
The last floor was utilized as a laundry room and hosted the service staff.
Up to day a private tennis court is immerged in the park: one of the first private tennis courts ever built in the Lombardy area.
At our Bed and Breakfast you will be welcomed by the original family’s hospitality, who still resides in the Villa.
Italian style breakfast will be served in the Clotilde breakfast room, while our guests can enjoy the view through the room’s balcony into the Villa’s park.
All products served in breakfast are bio and it is possible to ask for vegetarian, vegan of gluten-free products. During the afternoon, the room will be cleared and can be used as a reading or work room. A large choice of teas and infusions, which are a passion of the Hosts, is at disposal of our guests.
At disposal of the guests: private free parking lot, Bicycles, Clay tennis court to be used with the appropriate equipment and private shuttle service at convenient fees.
A turistic route practicable on foot or by bike alongside the Villoresi channel that runs for several kilometers through the countryside begins nearby the Bed and Breakfast area.
For golf lovers there is a 18-hole Golf court (par 71 medium difficulty) in the bordering town of Lainate.
